Terms of Service
Last updated August 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of Meet Handoff, the Chrome extension and web service that captures Google Meet captions into transcripts you and your AI agents can read. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
Meet Handoff captures the live captions Google Meet displays during calls you attend and stores them as transcripts in your account. You can read them on your dashboard and grant read-only access to AI agents through API keys or OAuth connections you approve. We may change, add, or remove features as the product evolves.
Your account
You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account, including access you grant to agents through API keys and OAuth connections. Keep your API keys secret and rotate or revoke them from your dashboard if you suspect they leaked.
Acceptable use
- Only capture calls you attend, and comply with all laws that apply to recording or transcribing conversations where you and the other participants are located, including notifying participants and obtaining consent where required.
- Do not use the service to violate Google's terms for Google Meet.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law grants you that right.
Your content
Your transcripts are yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display them to you and to the agents you connect. We never sell your content or use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Free plan and pricing
The free plan includes the limits shown on the pricing page. We may change plan limits or introduce paid plans; if we do, we will not silently move your existing data behind a paywall.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Caption capture depends on Google Meet's caption feature and page structure, which Google can change at any time, so we cannot guarantee that every call is captured completely or at all. Do not rely on Meet Handoff as your only record of a conversation that matters.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
Changes
If we materially change these terms, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
